"When one is in therapy you are no longer alone in your private conclusions / personal issues that worry you. It is a profound change from the isolation and efforts of trying to find solutions and life balance all on your own."

Jana Morgan Serving Clients CA

Jana’s approach is optimistic, aware and fully grasping the gestalt of life. She is anchored in years of experience with clients from all walks of life. She brings a  Buddhist humility,  academic theoretical paradigms, practical wisdom and  a profound protest against destructiveness and suffering of any kind. She has a robust commitment to the possibility of growth, surprise and health.   (this may be laying it on a bit thick!!).  Jana has helped me (result eg adjust to life in a busy world) in ways I didn't expect! Her care and keen senses are all around top notch and I feel like I can finally X. Thanks Jana.

For me, being a therapist is a calling. I am committed to delivering excellent care, both supportively as well as challenging my clients to be true to themselves and to be and become their best self. Life is a challenging journey and for joys there exist sorrows. I help clients understand the meaning of their lives, how to enjoy and steer the many vicissitudes of life: through our important dialogues we come to terms of your needs and wants and which inner tools, inner characteristics and aspirations can be lived fully.

I work with people who are interested in achieving stability, and a quality of life while recovering from periods of life where mental illness wreaks episodic havoc. I work with clients who experience extreme states and suffer the results of disrupted family and professional lives.
I work using a relational, developmental, psychodynamic, jungian, somatic, cognitive and existantial lens. I value client self-determination and also the need for people ultimately to feel a shared and common experience. We are social beings and people thrive in socially supportive communities and relationships -- such as that is provided in a therapy realm.
